What are the odds that the same dog would achieve the same top result at Champion of Champions two years in a row?

This event was one of those days that will stay in our memory forever.

Kamayel Al Zahra did it for the second time in a row – winning the titles BEST IN GROUP and BEST IN SHOW II

The competition was incredibly strong, and sighthounds were among the most represented groups.

Huge thanks to all the judges for such high appreciation of Kamayel, and also to all our friends for the wonderful company and atmosphere throughout the day. It was beautiful!

FCI WORLD CHALLENGE

11.1.2026

FCI WORLD CHALLENGE Representation Selection

Brno

Judges: Lenka Frnčová, Zdena Jílková, Miroslav Václavík, Petr Řehánek, Leoš Jančík

On Sunday, January 11, 2026, a prestigious competition was held to select the representative of the Czech Republic for the FCI World Challenge, one of the most important international cynological events held under the auspices of the FCI. Each FCI member country nominates its best representatives each year, who then represent not only their specific breeds, but also the quality of breeding and cynology in that country.
The Czech selection included the winners of the BEST IN SHOW title from national and international shows held in the Czech Republic during 2025. In total, 11 dogs were selected for this final choice thanks to their exceptional achievements.

It is a great honour and a tremendous success for us that our Saluki was among the nominees

BIS, JBIS, JWW'24, EJSW'24, CIB, CIB-J, Grand Ch., SE, BE, AT, CZ, SK, SI, HU Ch., CZ,SK, HR, SI, HU JCh. Kamayel Al Zahra!

Kamayel earned this nomination thanks to his extraordinary BEST IN SHOW victory at Duo CACIB Brno 2025, where 3,622 dogs were entered. My sincere thanks once again go to the judges who appreciated my "Fialka" so highly — from the BEST OF BREED and BEST IN GROUP titles awarded by Stefan Boieck (Germany), to BEST IN SHOW awarded by Gunnar Nymann (Denmark). I value this honour immensely!
Once again, I also thank Nikol Němcová from the bottom of my heart, who showed "Fialka" a year ago and led him all the way to the very top.

Winning BEST IN SHOW and being nominated among the possible representatives of the Czech Republic for the FCI World Challenge is an exceptional achievement, confirming the high level of our Saluki breeding as well as our long-term and systematic work.

The national representative was selected by five Czech all-round judges: Lenka Frnčová, Zdena Jílková, Miroslav Václavík, Petr Řehánek and Leoš Jančík. Our warm congratulations go to the winning Welsh Corgi and his team on being selected as the representative of the Czech Republic for the FCI World Challenge 2026.

Many thanks also to the audience for the warm applause and wonderful support.
